Seminars and Workshops
-
30th and 31st of October 2007-
Torremolinos – Málaga: "Quality is profitable: Conference on tourism and consumer protection in the Mediterranean"
The European Consumer Centre in Spain, the United Nations World Tourism Organisation, the Secretaría General
de Turismo (Spanish General Secretariat for Tourism), as well as the European Consumer Centres of France/Germany,
Portugal, Italy, Slovenia, Greece, Cyprus and Malta, will collaborate in the organisation of this conference. The goal
is to have the tourism and consumer affairs officials of the countries bordering the Mediterranean meet and think about
how they can improve tourism offerings of quality and safety in the region, for European consumers. A novelty of the
conference will be the meeting of the Administrations of two sectors that, though closely interralated, have little
history of collaboration.
